Message from Bench Yrac
Photography has opened up an avenue of opportunities and great way of expressing one's thoughts in one's subject. The very first time I held up a camera was 1992 ( I was a highschool then) and it was all manual and film. I can still remember shooting at Fort Santiago and in Intramuros. After the end of the day, I do my own film development at the dark room. All of this was made possible thru the tireless effort and belief of my mentor, Miss Rose Talladen and thru the generosity of the Philippine Star (a national news daily) who have graciously allow me (and my buddy, John Paul Bedia) to use their equipments and the dark room. Its sad that I forgot all the people who has helped me back then.
The passion for photography or for arts in general never left me. I might not have the SLR to do my projects after highschool but still love for the craft is still there. Its an expensive box but still one hopes to have a decent box in the near future.
I held my first camera Dec 2007, and get totally hooked since then. My first DSLR is a Nikon D80 in a 18-135 f3.5-5.6. My very first serious toy (in my own opinion bcoz of its cost) never leaves my bag (in my car) since then. im so blessed with wonderful people around me who has the same passion and love for the craft that leads us to become friends.
