The Peregrine Falcon pair in this gallery arrived at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor Ontario,Canada '08.The band number's were identified,we found out they were both banded in Ohio, the male was a 6yr old named "Freddy" & his mate 2yr old "Voltaire".No hatch in '08.They had 2 young '09,unfortunately the young female died of an avian disease.The young male was very high spirited,i thought for sure once, he was ready to fledge when i was focused on him . The next day he fledged,and landed on a roof top across the road,i arrived a short time later.Acouple days later we had a bad wind storm,he was grounded with a wing fracture.While at a wildlife rehab center recovering for 4-6 weeks he was let out or taken.Hopefully he's ok.Just want to dedicate this gallery to the memory of the youngster's and to the great parents "Freddy" & "Voltaire" They are still at the Ambassador Bridge and doing fine.
