Taking pictures in the dark has always been a challenge, even to some dslr users, i.e. ME. How wonderful would it be if my camera has some betta focusing in the dark, better noise control, better white balance, etc etc. Or... how nice will it be if I'm able to outwit the limits of my camera and produce some master piece? This is certainly not gonna happen tho. Hence the answer to my problem is sooooo damn simple, get a better camera! $7800 needed. =)

The GSR 8 gang made a last minute Xmas gathering at Oosh, Dempsey Road. The word Dempsey Road is synonyms with class, nice ambience, romantic, expensive etc etc, and Oosh certainly lived up to the expectations. The night handheld shots shown below is certainly not doing the place justice! And just when I thought the $80+ Shangri La buffet is expensive, the set meal at Oosh is $200 per pax!

Altho we have two bankers present, one had not gotten his first pay and the other haben even started work, and the rest are more or less broke. So what did we had at Oosh? Answers below...
