New York City(NYC), a fusion of fashion, arts, entertainment, financial powerhouses and an alluring hype that draws attention from all over the world. It's a glamourous city which you either love or hate - i choose the latter.

I wouldnt hide the feeling of being awed by the sight of the neonlights in Times Sq and the familar sights i so often see in Hollywood movies. What irks me is something deep beneath this modern city - the stuffy, dirty and dodgy million yr old subway. One will certainly expect a much pleasant looking(& smelling) and cleaner train service from such a big city. Somewhere uptown, about 100 streets away from downtown where my hostel is, homeless people roam the streets - it makes me wonder if I was in New York or Cambodia... The MacDonalds nearest to my hostel lacks a few flying daggers to make it a "He Ping Fan Dian". Early in the breakfast hours you see people quarrelling & insane people making fun of the Mac staffs. In the afternoon we went back to the same Mac and that insane person is still doing stunts over there! Some kinda civilised city this is.

Remember the movie "Night at the Museum"? This awesome museum is situated in NYC, and one couldnt help but to go around the museum finding the artifacts that were shown in the movie. The biggest regret leaving the museum was not to have found that latin woman Robin Williams was eyeing in the movie - but at least i found the dumbdumb-gumgum thingy.
