Thanks Rocky - glad you like them.

Essentially the photos have been upsized in Photoshop, and then had a slice (or Panorama) cut out of them. I did this all in one go by selecting the crop tool, defining the final image size that I wanted, and boosting the dpi to 300 before making the crop. All that followed was a tweak of the levels, a polish in Noise Ninja and a very slight sharpening.
