I've written for numerous publications since 1978, but my most gratifying experience as a columnist was for the now-defunct no-holds barred and freewheeling, hardcore biker publication, Iron Horse Magazine. While writing about the martial arts was also great because I owned my own combat arts school, it was the chronicling of the biker subculture in Iron Horse that was the pinnacle of inspired writing for me. Inspired, because I've been a hardcore biker since 1968, when I got my first Harley-Davidson. For more about my biker side, visit my other website which is called "Going The Distance". hi scott i remember your last editorial and how steamed you were at the commercialsation of martial arts. i just wanted to say thanks .... back then i was a bit scared of you and the way spoke so frankly of combat. then I was 14 now im 36 everything you ever said about combat reality is so on point! anything you have to say will paid attention mr wong

I saw David was editor for a short spell with the new castrated Iron Horse so like a dummy I subscribed, I had received one issue then he was gone and this magazine sucks. Come on man, can't you and Snow round up the piss peas and give us real Iron Horse. I read IH from 79 when it was Easys weak little brother all the way to the end of its greatness in 96, it was still okay in 97 even without the chicks but now it is just garbage. If you guys put out something like the old IH you'll corner the market with the only real biker rag

about iron horse.....looking for a back issue article on laconia bike week.....pictured with caption.....the heat......got the best of man and beast ( pictured a biker soaking wet from the ride in....next to that pic was a bike down on the ground...wonder if the article was written by you? would like to have the issue Dee

Wondered where you were. I miss all (ok most) of you guys from Iron Horse. BSC has kinda continued in your wake but when I read your articles we just seemed to see eye to eye. Keep on keepin on.
