The Jean Sibelius Monument was unveiled in 1967. From the front, it resembles an abstract pipe organ. The designer's purpose was to capture the essence of Sibelius' music. Many visitors didn't like the abstraction so a bust of Sibelius was added on a wall adjacent to it. This photo was taken from underneath the pipes.
