This is the gallery where I celebrate my love and affection for our cats, Lola and Bentley

On November 27, 2007 Bentley died after a long struggle with kidney failure. We adopted him from the street in 1997. Bentley had many wonderful qualities: beautiful, graceful, athletic, verbal. He loved to go outside. But my favorite characteristic was that he was an unusually sociable cat. He welcomed other creatures into his world. We miss him.

On March 1, 2015 we laid our black and white tuxedo cat Lola to rest. She was 15 1/2 and had become deathly ill. Lola was oblivious to her startling beauty. Manically playful in her youth, she barely tolerated our male tabby Bentley despite his attempts at companionship. Lola settled into a comfortable retirement upon Bentley's death in 2007. She liked being the only cat in the house. She was my baby and I can't believe she is gone.
