Fitzroy Bluff

Mornington Sanctuary WA

One of the most spectacular places I have ever seen occurs in Mornington sanctuary. It is impossible to capture with a
photograph and it is an area that is so sensitive that any sort of tourism development would completely destroy it. Fortunately it
is a gruelling two hour walk to get there and there are limits strictly imposed on visitation, but being a naturalist guide gave me
certain privileges (I have never been able to spell that word) and i was able to vist this spot on a number of occasions. Note the
two people to the right of my shoe at the end of the pool- it will give an idea of scale. These are great shoes by the way!
