This self-cooking grasshopper was on a rock that was too hot for me to leave my hand on. I don't know what these animals have
instead of blood or pain receptors but I was very impressed. I am not so sure if the grasshopper was impressed but it certainly
would have been under water had the Fitzroy River Dam gone ahead.
