Black Rock skink, Egernia saxatilis

Blue Mountains National Park, NSW

These handsome lizards are common around the sandstone cliffs of the upper Blue Mountains in NSW, where they shelter in
rock crevices. This lizards has some small, blood-sucking flies on its nose.
