Hi Alex,

Your passion and talent for seeing the abundance of life on earth has been such an inspiration!

On that note, I have recently purchased my very own micro lens and I hope to portrait some tiny critters starting with my neighbours! Those spideys and weevils loved today's rainy morning. We'll see how I go!

Thanks for sharing your amazing images :)

Alex, I am about to check out the rest of your galleries but the frogs remain my favourites. I will have to tell the arachnophobics in my family to leave while im online viewing them.lol.

Alex:
Your photos are wonderful. After seven trips to Oz, including five to Tassie (the animals and trees are that special!), we will be in the NT and Kakadu in May. We hope to see at least some of these incredible creatures. Thanks for the inspiration.

Terrfic spider photos you have there Alex, did you ever get too close to one for it to jump on you?.

Just recently, I had to catch and release a 'mighty' Huntmans spider from the bedroom. As it was bigger than my fist, the huntsman are quite thin - ideal hiding spots are behind paintings and curtains. Relieved that I released the spider ouside in the yard, it came back in the house for the next two days, again in the bedroom and the worst of places, naked in the shower. Maybe the Huntsman spider was seeking revenge?.

Alex,
I forgot to congratulate you on your pics. Some beauties there. How close were you to the croc?
Cheers

Hi Alex,
Great meeting you and listening to your entertaining dialogue about all things great and small at Dive Lake. My wife still laughs about the fright you gave her with the stuffed Devil.
Alex, you are a terrific talent, how about exploring some opporutnities to expose your work -especially the poetry "Speak of the Devil and other poems "!!!. Can we get a copy of the Devil poo poem?
Let's know if you are stopping off in Melbourne on your way to the next gig.
Cheers

Hi Alex, Love your site and was thrilled with your spider pics. Last year I nearly lost my leg to a spider with absolutely no oral hygiene and came out of hospital with a fierce desire to photograph them. My night shots of orb weavers are a joy for me and I felt that same high veiwing your gallery. Thanks for sharing Toni
