Fair comment about illegal offroaders spoiling things for sensible enthusiasts - however to gain access to this track they had just crossed the land that the sign refers to. Note that this was taken 4 years ago - whether the sign or the restriction still exists I can't say - but this is how it was at that time.

See the lights? Road legal bikes with tax,mot and insurance. Riders wearing full protective gear. All riders are keeping to the hardcore track. There is a big difference between these guys and illegal offroaders who damage to countryside and spoil the hobby for sensible enthusiasts. Note how clean the bikes and riders are, this is because they are keeping to the tracks, not the open moors and bogs.
