Abaty Downside, ger Caerfaddon yw canolfan Benedictaidd hynaf Prydain. Yno ceir llawer o wybodaeth ysgrifenedig am St. John Roberts, a dau gerflun ohono ynghyd a bys. Prif nodwedd mynediad yr ysgol yw Tŵr Roberts ac mae un o dai’r ysgol wedi’i enwi ar ei ôl. Ef oedd yn rhannol gyfrifol am ail-rymuso ac ailsefydlu’r mudiad Benedictaidd yn y DU. Mae ganddynt feddwl uchel iawn o St. John Roberts yno.

Downside Abbey, near Bath is the oldest Benedictine centre in Britain. There is a wealth of written material about St. John Roberts there as well as two statues and his finger. The main feature of the school is the Roberts Tower and one of the school's houses is also named after him. He was partly responsible for the re-invigoration and re-establishment of the Benedictine movement in the UK. He is held in great honour there.
