David, a biologist, taught first at St. Lawrence College in Quebec City. Then he became an administrator in the CEGEP system, at Champlain College in St. Lambert. He says, “Learning does not stop when you retire; lifelong learning enables you to make new and interesting discoveries and friends.” Curious, involved, and talkative, David loves science, music, opera, theatre, philately, literature (Ulysses!!), and very often the unseen interconnectedness of these things. He is the inspiration for the founding of MCLL’s Montreal Bloomsday Festival.
