Thanks you all for the nice comments, and Jerome, for the sake of humour I will leave your comment in here as well. Did it give you much pleasure writing it? :)

You call yourself a photographer with these crappy images? Work on your skills, read some books and you might improve over time
Bryant 12-May-2008 10:33
Your photo's of Argentina and Boliva are just beautiful and as a traveller they excite me enough to want to visit. Thank you.
As for a critic of your work the one comment which runs though your work is my feeling that there is more to be drawn out. Many of the desert scenes appear a little flat and a little tweek in photoshop to seperate or divide more clearly the layers of colours would have helped. I am aware that my screen will never reproduce the original, but others have achieved the colour balance and brought out the seperation more which I "personally" like.
You say you would if you had the skills paint like the old masters, you are already doing just that. Were's they use paint and brush to compose their images, you use light. I know without any doubt which medium I would prefer to work in.
I have bookmarked this site.
Bryant.

tomr-photos17-Jun-2003 23:00
Thanks for the comments, Greg. Okay, they do look more like paintings than photographs. I've told people in the past that painters have inspired me than photographers, and if I could paint like the old masters, I would sell all my photo equipment and devote the rest of my life to painting. – Tom
