Here's a photographic report of a one-week family vacation in the Swiss Alps. For the people familiar (or interested in becoming) with the area : this is the Upper Wallis area, aka Goms. We stayed on a camping site in Reckingen and hiked to famous natural attractions like the Aletsch and Fiescher Glaciers, the Binn Valley and the Griess Lake. Sometimes however the least known places can be at least as impressive, like the Bächlital just north of Reckingen. The end of this (trail-less) valley consists of two small glaciers and, as I was lucky to find out up-close, is the home of a family of Capricorns. And what a home it is... (see pics on page 3/4)
