Dive Log.....

This gallery is a visual log of a dive trip. The scenes are collaged from my trips to Sipadan (Borneo, East Malaysia), Manado (Sulawesi, Indonesia).

Sipadan, Mabul Islands, and Manado - probably the best dive destinations in Asia.

Just fabulous - some of the world's best diving spots right at our backyard. These marine life pics are mainly from Sipadan/Manado - cannot do justice to the wealth of life in these seas - you've got to see them for yourself. Soon after the trip to Sipadan, the Malaysia Government announced the closure of diving resorts on Sipadan Island - now you have to stay at Mabul Island or do a LOB trip to see Sipadan.

Hey Loo! You got your all the pix you need to make calendars for the next three years!! Fantastic shots. Brings back memories of a trip we took with Loke and your army buddies to Tioman, where we fished the ocean dry of garoupas! But a lot more fun to be under water than above it, don't you think! Buddy,this brings back nice memories of beauty of the bikini bottom. Time to take the flippers and Stinger and head out again. Sipandan is truly an amazing divers haven - you misssed the white tips sharks. Ha, your PS skills are good - draws out the colors ! Go join National Geog lah !

Nice blog Gul. Reminds me of my trip to Lombok , Manado and some dive shots looks like it's from Fiji Island. How come I don't see the coral walls in Manado? What kind of camera was used underwater? We should go on a dive trip together. Regards, Alec.
