The Shilin night market is the one place every visitor to Taipei must see.

The assortment of food on offer at the stalls is some of the best in the world and it's said that even the very well-served Singaporeans head here when bored with the options available there :)

If you are squeamish about the sight of meat, be warned. There are quite a few options for vegetarians, but if the sight of meat puts you off, this is not the place for you.
