Snow White and child

Disneyland

On my recent trip to Disneyland, I was able to take a picture
of Snow White and this little girl. The line was very long for a
picture with/of Snow White that I just took a picture of the
first person that comes up to her. The waterfall in the
background can be seen on both of their eyes.

Alyssa, under what law is taking such a photo "illegal"? People run around amusement parks with cameras all the time. In a public place, and especially a *crowded* public place, you have to figure that you don't have privacy.

Selling the image without permission, that sounds illegal, but this is just posted as a picture for people to enjoy. I like the background not cluttering the shot, the way the photographer caught the light in their hair, focus is a touch soft so it doesn't look too glossy, and the colors look pretty good. It tells a little story; obviously the girl is on vacation, enjoying herself.

So why do you superimpose your experience onto this child? Does the photographer have dozens of other pictures of this child on the site? If anything is marginally creepy about this, it's Snow White because she doesn't look quite real, but you'd have to take that up with Disney. Otherwise it's a nice shot and you don't have to read more into it than is there.

So Alyssa, I'm sorry you felt creeped out by something that happened to you as a child. However, I reject the idea that any photo of a child that was not taken by a family member is automatically creepy.

That first comment..Aly...is nuts. Ignore her.

I don't see anything creepy about it at all. What makes it so creepy for you? Illegal? What's illegal about it?

Agree with the previous comment. CREEPY! And not a good shot either....

I do photography so I respect what your doing but this is extremely creepy. you have to remember the times and know that this is illegal. when I was a little girl people used to take pictures while it was my turn and I would get soo upset. I chased down a man after the Aladdin site because he kept taking pictures of me and even as little kid I said I wouldn't leave until he deleted them!
