I have long been an admirer of and fascinated with early gargoyle and green man carvings. Growing up on the East Coast and Midwest the old gargoyles perched atop and fiercely protecting Victorian and earlier homes fired and stimulated my imagination. I love to collect original gargoyle art and carvings. The images herein are taken with the Oly E-20 and are all a part of my ongoing collection.
These are cool -- I don't currently have a collection going (just a picture or two from my trip to England a few years ago) but my friend collects them. She is naming them according to the alphabet and I think is on 'S' right now. It gets harder to find original ones after a while!
