For now, since we have lots of other things on our plates for gardens, the water garden is still in the feed/water tub that we've used for years, the bog garden is still just carnivorous stuff in a container that overwinters in the basement since it's not in the ground (and two plants are not our zone- so they will always be in containers) and the iris garden is just a little plot around where we want it. There is a run-off brook that runs through our whole back yard, we'll be digging it out a bit and making little water cascades and lining it with river rock. We'll be making the iris garden/bog garden bigger and extend into the huge grove of winterberry where it pools and is basically wet year round. We might add water plants to it too, but I'm worried about containing that. Boggy stuff might be easier. We'll be tearing out the boards that are currently at the top of the brook and put in something a little nicer, then maybe another little wooden thing to use as a little bridge in the iris/bog garden.
