The ice storm knocked out power to 1.5 million people from anywhere to a few hours to over a week. We lost power for 4 days and I thank the waitress from the diner who befriended a national grid worker and he got our power up a day early! The power company trucks from local and as far away as Michigan and Tennessee worked their butts off 18 hours a day. Coming home from work one day we saw 19 trucks parked in front of the diner in town! Quite the crowd! Thanks guys!!
