The photo of The Seymour (Hotel) Wish to clarify if this is or was the address of 145 Seymour Rd. as my great grand aunt Mrs. Maud (Veale) Ramstedt was once proprietor. (Back in the early 1900)

As far as I know, alot of the old housing in Hare Lane and Park Street was demolished in the 50s and early 60s. Most of it was Victorian, but some dated back to the 16th century. For a long time the space up the middle of the two streets was occupied by parking spaces. The whole thing changed dramatically when the inner ring road was extended from Worcester Street, cutting right through. They turned what was left of Park Street from here up to Sainsbury's into an extended car park, leaving only Hare Lane as a through road.
Very sad what they did to Rabbit Avenue, as my late aunt used to call it. I would go and take some more pics and upload them for you, but I now live in California and don't get much chance to visit the old place mush any more.
Thanks for the comment.

I lived in Gloucester 1969 - 1976.
I lived on Pitt St. However, I would be interested to know if you know anything about Park St. When I was a child I remember there being some terraced - somewhat seedy[at least in my memory] - houses there.
When I went back as an adult in 2001 the area was unrecognisable. Do you know when the houses would have been demolished?
