Siem Reap Cambodia November 2007

We spent Thanksgiving 07 in Cambodia. Cambodia is finally open to tourism since the end of the Khmer Rouge. It is a developing country hungry for support and needed tourism. We toured the major temples of Siem Reap and Angkor Thom including Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Prah Palilay, Tep Pranam, Temple of the Leper King, Elephant Terrace, Prah Kan, Banteay Srei and of course Angkor Wat, one of the Wonders of the World . We averaged 9K of walking a day and took over 1,700 photos during our explorations. We also visited the markets, a local school, and adventured on a boat tour to see the floating village and fish farm on Tonle Sap Lake. This was an amazing experience which we highly recommend. If anyone would like to purchase any photos from this gallery, I will gladly donate the money to the children of Cambodia.
