Memorial Temple of Hatshepsut-West Bank Luxor

Nearly to the level of the fore court, the beauty of Djeser djeseru in front of us. You can see most of the detail of our walk from here, the path on the skyline coming over the hill top from Dier el Madina on the far left, the stunning pyramidal height of AL Qurn and the cirque over the top of Hatshepsut and Merenptah. ( OOOOps Lenka Peacock has pointed out that it is not Merenptah at all it should read Mentuhotep. Age related degeneration on my part. Merenptah would have understood he was my age when he got The Baton and he too might have got himself mixed up on occasion. ) And high up right hand the dark cave entry to TT71 the first tomb of Senenmut.
It is nearly time for us to bid farewell, the walk almost over, before we go I have a few people to thank. And an addendum to close off . An Ice cold Stella Local beckons.
