We are really delighted to have our old mate Trev join Galleria Rusticana. Trev now lives in Queensland, where he and Annie have built out in the bush with his favourite birds and fauna all around them. Trev stays close to his Sydney mates by sending spectacular pics of all aspects of nature, most especially his birds. He has an encyclopaedic of birds (some say 500 species) and a great grasp of botany. As well, he has this great capacity to photograph them. He has all manner of kit including a Nikon DX2 and plenty of lenses as well as a sturdy timber tripod. Indeed he will no doubt have lots of new kit since relocating in Bundaberg.

Trev has an extraordinary XXX sound system he uses to call birds to him. It is incredible to be on a walk with him when he will call birds to him. It is commonplace to see a hundred little people all flying around his hat and all talking at once. I addition to all that, out Trevis a crackshot. Using a syringe full of Dettol to shoot cane toads in his yard.

Trev's laconic sense of humour makes his presentations hilarious as most of his mates will confirm and his photographic skills are very widely known. His trade is a top flight plumber, running a thriving business in Sydney and always with calera at hand. We would often get shots taken from exotic work locations inSydney and inaccessible to we locals not working on the job. He is an artist with aviation shears, a king of Gaugin of the galvanised iron, incredible how he finds the Nikon buttons with all those hard knocks, lumps and oxy burns on his hand.Trev is always a great hand to have around, to help with a BBQ, open a beer or pour a sip of the sacred syrup His wild life work is superb and we are delighted welcome him back and to have his work in Galleria Rusticana, with more to come.
