We feel that our growing public may question the fact that persons of our mature years do not have a gallery devoted exclusively to Analogue or Black and White pics. Indeed it seems strange to look back at much more than a century of monochrome.....well, we weren't around ALL that time.... and consider the relatively short time we have had affordable digital cameras, maybe ten years or so?. It is sad to see so many manufacturers close as their traditional markets are lost to digital. But then, we personally know photographers who have/are/will remain with film and not just 35mm but right up to whole plate or 10" X 8"in the old money.

Apart from placing some of our own images here we shall be inviting any and all of our mates to send some of their best....and the best will be very good. We shall also be seeking out work done by our own and other families of earlier times and from other friendly sources. In this way the galleria shall remind viewers of days now gone, but for a determined core of dedicated film buffs. We shall certainly be keen to show current film work and are confident of great images to come. For, we know the people.

As we have come across some sepia work, these are now to be included with Noir Blanc. The purists may disagree but not all are purists.Indeed, at the end of Winter in Twentyten, we find ourselves offering a full colour gallery of beautiful old British cars together with another on historic MGs and all here within Noir Blanc... There is room for other colours and we all know we started with black and white
