Viewers with the more acute observational skills will have noticed that there are a lot of pics around Galleria featuring Sydney’s Bridge and/or Opera House. A significant reason for this is that Robaire has been down around the harbour for years and more so in the recent past when there have been non-negotiable limits on travel. An inspired Wazza offered a rather more specific title but blushing modesty has triumphed and we are confident that our Host the well-known Slug, will approve of this classical approach, well away from the bawdy suggestions from an otherwise Classical Scholar.

We feel that these Iconae provide another kite to fly and we are gathering up our old and recent pics and presenting them as a collection in one gallery. Hopefully our Other Mates will provide more images, old and new and stimulate fresh interest amongst our viewers. You will see shots from other galleries as well as many not offered before. Some ancestral shots will be included as, though we may be a touch past middle age, we have no personal photographical record of the 1930/33 period of bridge building and opening. Robaire also has difficulty in realising that, although he spent a lot of work time in and on the Opera House construction phases, he neglected to keep a record of those days.
