The life blood of the land. Excellent shot. Love the rust stained ground and the ancient arms reaching into space waiting to dig down breaking the surface for just a bit more.

I never thought those oil pumping things could be just lying there lost in the landscape like birds of prey... Never saw something quite like it. I love the dull colours of the photo where the rust seems to rule.

dinosaurs plodding across the landscape - they always seems some great and alien beast to me in my childhood - destructive yet compelling - sort of like our attachment to the fuel these things represent...

... this machinery landscape and the coldness of the nacked trees seems symbolic to me.
It tooks me back in time (1975) when I heard the first time "Welcome my son.. welcome to the machine", the song of Pink Floyd.
