In an Ancient Land

I lived in several Asian nations for around 12 years, and have visited many others over 30 years. Much of Asia is rapidly becoming modern, though reminders of traditional life and culture can still be found if you look. The images here are part of a compilation of images taken in China, Japan, Thailand, Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

Superb. Im a HUGE lover of Asia. A vibrant continent that has been my home for 4.5 years. I cant imagine living elsewhere. Your photos capture this feel of the place that I love.

I particularly like the Rivebank shot and the Monks. It reminds me of Akira Kurosawa stills.
