Much Ado About Nothing

Yesterday I didn't post a photo. I saw a accident in the morning, called an ambulance but the person was dead. I hope none of you ever have to go through that experience. It was awful for me and the other people there but I remind myself how much worse it will have been for their family and friends. I would also like to thank two of my special friends on PBase - they knew about this and were fantastic at offering support and checking I was ok. You know who you are - thank you so much x.

Last night was a happier occasion and just what I needed. We saw Zoe Wannamaker star in Much Ado About Nothing at the National Theatre. Absolutely brilliant. This shot was taken as we arrived. I like this new trend of having some of the actors milling about on stage while the audience arrive.

I'm so happy you enjoyed the play after the trauma the day before. Zoe Wannamaker is one of my favourite actresses. Still not as good as Jane Horrocks though ;-)

A terrible thing to witness... life can be taken away so quickly & unexpectedly...
Love the lighting on that stage!

I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through that yesterday morning. I like this shot, i'm surprised they let you take your camera in.. when I went to see Joseph the security guard on the door insisted that I put my bag and precious camera in their cloakroom!

Oh Gail! what a shock that must have been. I'm pleased that you could finish the day in an enjoyable way though.

How horrible for you yesterday..
It just reminds us how precious our own lives are..

As for this image, I like the compositional balance you have achieved here..

Facing that I am sure is very difficult. The comedy must have given some surcease.

So sorry, loss of life from MVA is tragic. Nice shot.
