Blue Sky

This is the most cloud we've had all day and boy is it warm... I'm not complaining though.

**Billy Bragg** was great fun last night. There was a lone man outside the concert campaigning against Billy's left wing views too.... should have taken my camera but I decided it was too hot to carry it around.... doh!

Anyway, Billy Bragg was excellent. I'm looking forward to my next concert.... Elvis Costello.... You must have heard of him, Zak!

UPDATE: So what a farce today's F1 race was! The Michelin teams should be ashamed of themselves, The FIA offered them teams three viable options in a letter to Michelin: "As explained in our earlier letter, your teams have a choice of running more slowly in Turn 12/13, running a tyre not used in qualifying (which would attract a penalty) or repeatedly changing a tyre (subject to valid safety reasons)." But no, these would have all meant them losing time so they didn't want to play. None of those teams were complaining about the poor performance of the Bridgestone tyres but when pushing the performance of the Michelin's led to disaster they put down their toys and walked. Shame on them. Fans pay a great deal of money to attend those races and don't deserve that kind of treatment.

Well, I was pleased to see Ferrari back on top!

mmm - felt like I was this way up most of the weekend.

Can't agree on the F1 thing... It wouldn't have been much more of a race slowing down for the final corner, we'd have simply seen a Ferrari overtake each car for the first 10 or so laps and then disappear off into the distance. In the meantime the michelin shod guys would be wondering when their tyres would explode... ditto with the other options if they drove at full chat. It's one thing to race with a tyre that you can drive to the limit even if it's got poor performance, but quite another to drive one that could explode at any moment without notice. I blame the lot of them. They could and should have done something to at least allow people to race safely. Who's going to take it seriously now?

Nice sky, like the angle of the trees running at 90 deg to the sky.
F1 one could have been better, shame the Ferrari boys didn't crash after their last pit change:)

if I'd shown my sky it would have been one mass of grey... so very sticky! I like the quirky diagonal composition. I wonder how young Declan is doing these days!

Great clouds and excellent diagonal composition. We've not had many clouds today, it's been so hot and humid though and we've just had the mother of an electrical storm that took my computer out! Elvis Costello, now that is one concert I wouldn't mind going to.
