These paintings are by Dr. Bea Card Kettlewood. I've written about this talented artist, teacher and friend in an article entitled The Photography Thing.

Bea is a noted artist, art educator and lecturer from Pompton Plains, N.J. During her tenure as head of the art department at New Milford High School in N.J., Bea developed an extraordinary and exemplary fine arts program. I am fortunate that she was my art teacher throughout high school. What she taught back then still influences me to this day. Bea has had 52 solo shows and has been in juried or invitational shows in numerous states in the U.S. Media includes watercolor, oil and pen & ink.
