This bold cardinal posed for about a second in our river birch-we have not seen him for a while, but the ice and snow of the past week made our bird bath and feeder quite the destination this AM-

I used the toaster as a tripod, shot through the kitchen window with the TCON 14B, the cardinal flew up from the ground where it had been feeding, and perched about 10 feet above me. I love the 600 mm super zoom. full exif
