I was just randomly jumping around Pbase when I came upon you galleries. I'm glad I did! Fantastic assortment of subject matter and so very well done!!! I'll be back fro inspiration.

Great pictures! Although I am not a "Birder" as the rule would go I certainly love shooting them. In Ottawa we don't get to see many exotic birds although I have shot Grey Owls, Blue Heron and a long shot of a Red Tail Hawk. My Eq just is not good enough for long shooting. I recently bought a Canon 30d and a sigma 70-300 (replaced my Pentax Digital). In a year I hope to add good quality long lens - Canon 100-400. I do notice a rather hugh difference between the "good" lens and well, mine! My name in FredMeranda is rlc2day, hopefully I may get the nerve to post and read the comments!
