Rice-cut grass (Leersia oryzoides)

A native grass usually found growing in damp sites as here, by the pond. The blades are sharp and if one draws one's fingers across them, a nasty cut can occur, hence the name, rice-cut. The rice part comes because the grass somewhat resembles wild rice.
