Camel cricket (Ceuthophilus sp.)

This was photographed at night, when Diane was mothing. Camel crickets are quite common but not always seen as they have a tendency to hide, seeking out damp places where light doesn't penetrate. These rather attractive crickets are wingless, and have a round-backed or hump-backed appearance.
