Fungi of the FWG

Over the last four or five years, we've found many different species of mushrooms and other fungi at FWG. However, some years are better than others for finding mushrooms, depending on weather conditions - many mushrooms don't grow well in prolonged dry spells. The photos are listed alphabetically by common name where there is one, or by scientific name when no common name is available. For a full list of all Fungi found at the FWG, please see Fungi of the Fletcher Wildlife Garden
