Of the 18 photos I entered in the 2004 Lake County Fair,
I somehow managed to steal 12 ribbons and Best of Show for Amateur class.

I just want to thank everyone that has ever commented on my work.
You gave me the confidence to put my photos on display for the world to see.

A special thanks for my wife, who without her,
I'm sure I would have never picked up a camera in the first place.

You see, she gave me the most beautiful child I could ever wish for,
and the desire to document his progress in this world is what got me
interested in photography in the first place.

It was her idea to enter some of my work in this year's fair.
You should have seen the look in her eyes
when she spotted my photo on the Best in Class table.
I started to get a little misty eyed myself to tell the truth.

In a little over two short years,
I went from being an obsessed daddy with a new camera and NO IDEA how to use it,
to this.

I can only dream where photography can take me from here.
