Birds? But I cannot see any!

Galway ( Ireland)

I always try hard to be informed about the features of the country I’m visiting.
Since it’s my stay in Ireland I have already learnt something on this country I love very much.
Did you know that in Ireland there is not any snake?
The legend says that it was St. Patrick who got rid of them.
Imagine St. Patrick standing on a hilltop, donned in his formal green attire and waving his staff to herd all the slithering creatures into the sea, expelling them from the green isle forever!!!!
Well in all cases in Ireland no snakes!

But I’m afraid St. Patrick has done something also to birds, before my arrival...
I have been sitting here down at the Claddagh, Galway City, for a while trying to bird-watch, but I cannot see any.
What are you saying, Máire? Birds are here? But where, where...I cannot see any!

I don't know, people see birds everywhere,
but I assure you there is not any, according to me...
