I made the wrap-over top of this Anne Klein pattern from 2003 in a dark purple cotton jersey with a small floral print from Fabric Tales in Japan. Making this top is a departure for me as I have never worn this type of top before, let alone made one. I made the size that corresponded with my measurements, and the finished garment is a good fit apart from the sleeves being a little too long. The collar sits high, unlike most wrap-over tops, which generally have a deep V neck. The front facings are not stitched in place on the inside, so I have to tweak them into position with my fingers to persuade them to sit neatly. I might stitch the edge of the facings in place by hand with a loose herringbone stitch if they are problem.
