My effort at making Textile Studio #1207: Bristol Blouse. I used a peacock-blue silk crepe bought on my first trip to India in 1989, at the government silk factory in Mysore. The pattern is not my favourite, although I'm glad I tried it. The seam allowance is extremely narrow, which is hard to work with if you do not have an overlocker (serger). It's not a great pattern: the neckline is cut low; it's not long enough in the body; and the sleeves look droopy without shoulder pads and lumpy with them. This pattern is similar to Loes Hinse's Italian Blouse, which I think is a better pattern.
