While this is probably the most photographed spot in the world, each year Oak Creek changes. This year large stepping stones have been placed so that the daring can tip toe across to the other side. I forgot my needed hiking poles and did not try it, but several made it across easily (with better balance than I). Nevertheless, these stones provided yet another different view. And from my home, about 90 minutes before I took this picture, I could see the weather pattern might afford some good sky. However, I thought that for the last two days as well, and the trip to this spot each day before yielded nothing.
