This is one of the first test shots with my new Canon Digital Rebel XSi. Set on "landscape" and using a polarizer, the colors were very saturated and I had to cut back on some colors including the reds. This camera is a 14 bit camera vs the XTi which was/is a 12 bit, and this camera also has 12 megs vs 10 in the previous model. The RAW file was converted to a 16 bit tiff using the Canon software and then transfered to Photoshop - as my Photoshop does not accept these Canon RAW files yet. The white fence around the red house was added to fence in the swimming pool!!!!! These two buildings are now part of a housing development with building on three sides and the pool is for the residents ...UGH!
