It's really interesting to compare this shot with the adjacent shot. In this one you've made excellent use of her positioning - leaning forward slightly with her legs crossed to really give the perspective that she's growing out of the frame. This is assisted by her hair being allowed to fall forward like that and the pout of her lips; everything is coming forward toward the viewer. The light in the background helps with this a bit too, since it puts a little space between her and the background, again bringing her into the viewer.
