She's beautifully posed. The soft focus on her left hand keeps the attention on her face which has an expression that is somewhere between wistful and pensive; not exactly sad but certainly thoughtful, and all the more beautiful (and not a little bit enigmatic) for it. The focus on her expression is also helped by the way her right hand is pointing back to her face. This is another wonderful portrait on many levels.
