I had set myself a challenge after my Startrails photo of Dunnotar Castle to capture the full 360 degree swirl of the stars around the North Star.
Fellow PBasers tinkerb, McGarva and smit10pics decided on an 'off the cuff' outing in very cold (-2 degree's) but crucially VERY clear conditions to give it a go.
This image was shot facing Northwards from the 'Tomnaverie Standing Stones' on the fringe of the Cairngorms National Park using a 45 minute exposure.
Great fun !!
