I am mostly amazed by the macros... They are detailed and really impressed by a relatively deep depth of field (should be 5mm minimum!). Did you use other Macro lenses regards macro shots (esp when taken with the canon Pro90)or just the camera itself? I am going to buy a fortune to enter into digital photography for my educational site about wildplants of Malta (www.maltawildplants.com). I wish you you keep having success and expand your talent. Congratulations

Thanks for the nice comment. I started photography with a Canon PS Pro90 IS, then upgraded to a Nikon D100 and recently added a little Pentax Optio 555 to my collection. The majority of the photos was taken with the Nikon.

Dear Fransziska, I had to tell you how inspired I am by your work. I was trained in art school as a painter, not a photographer, so I am learning this art form myself. I hope you do not mind if I try a few shots inspired by some of your shots - like the framed shavings, and closeups of colorful objects. AND where did you take the wonderful puffin shots?! I went to the Pribilof Islands two years ago, climbed down a cliff in drizzling rain only to get slightly blurred images from all the moisture in the air. I felt bad, until I saw a postcard where the professional had the same problem. That was with my Nikon 35mm. Digital is a new animal for me.
