Being rebuilt after a fire. (See below for image of burned home.)

West Hartford, CT USA

When the power came on after Storm Alfred (11/ 2011) this house caught fire and was destroyed. Fortunately, the family was away. It is finally being rebuilt from the foundation. Not sure who our new neighbors will be, as the family that owned the house bought another home.

Dramatic documentary images ........ I don't remember "Storm Alfred" ....... It surely wasn't a late tropical storm (the kind we're always on the lookout for down here in Florida) and I didn't think storms (even severe ones) in the northeast got named. I'll have to go Google it :-)
